Your work is grossly under appreciated. This is absolutely fantastic.

A sense of depth is needed here to guarantee the viewer understands what's the front and back. The back end of the abdomen needs to be of a darker tone compared to the front.
It needs to be done in the same manner as the way you have the legs. They become darker as they recede to the background.

Speaking of legs this fellow unfortunately has lost some. I assume you're trying to build speed due to this oversight. Intended or not this is good practice to see how much you can get away with. Honestly I didn't notice at first because your understanding of balance is uncannily good. I can say the same thing with your colors.

Syavi responds:

Ah, I didn't actually think to do the background shading with the abdomen itself. It's such a simple concept, it's no wonder I managed to somehow overlook it. I might even be able to fix that up a little without having the rest of it look weird. If not, that's still something I should keep in mind for the future, so thank you! :'D

The leg thing /was/ done on purpose-- unless you're talking about the ones that are supposedly behind him which, yes, I was already taking so long on it that I had hoped it wouldn't have been too much of an issue. But maybe I should at least block in some basic shapes in the future, huh? I'll try that next time. :D

Thank you for the review, it was incredibly helpful! x3

I applaud you. Very professional and noteworthy.
Be proud of what you've accomplished so far.

You've improved quite a bit since the last time you posted in the art forum.
Overall it's a very appealing drawing.
However there's missed opportunity with her left hand. It cuts out of frame.
There are nearly endless things she could have done with that hand: hold an item, place it on her hip...
She could make an elegant gesture or even an extremely rude one to throw off the mood of the piece.
Hands are very important to an artist. That's why we try not to cut them off.

DoloresC responds:

Hey! :)
First of all - thank you for fav and kind words:)
About hand, yea. I guess you r right :) When you said I can see it. I'll work on it. Thank you! :)

Horrifyingly delightful.
You certainly deserve a hell of a lot more recognition.

Lundsfryd responds:

Thanks buddy :)

I see improvement. You want to be respected for your work and you will if you keep this up.

A great improvement from the previous iteration.

YakovlevArt responds:

Thanks dude!
Critiques help out a lot =]

You have developed greatly in curious ways. Disturbance never seems to leave you.
It's as if you're the safety glass protecting us from what will hopefully never reach us.
We can only watch as it scratches the surface.

MAKOMEGA responds:

*O* what a nice interpretation of the image...
btw in the deep she is a disturbing and psychedelic character and a biological weapon created by the terrorists.

Wow you're fast. Impressive.
But yeah, the feet are hurting this.
Some of my advice on feet when life drawing is to have the big toe prominent yet subtle and the smaller toes to be even more subtle. It's not so much of a focus on the outline of each individual toe but rather to draw feint lines to represent the gaps between them.

Luciaea responds:

Thanks for the review and advice :). I usually evade them or give them generic angles, but this was a model and I couldn't hide them anywhere... I'll try your advice next time.

I really just need to go study feet anatomy...

Personally I find it tough to view things like this in larger sizes as more than half of it cuts off from my monitor.
On initial viewing I found myself tilting my head thinking it was incorrectly displayed. But after a few moments I got settled in and started to appreciate the overall look to it.
It's a bit difficult to connect with this but it has some familiarity. Like the sense of getting drunk.
Pretty good.

DonStracci responds:

I think the composition could have been worked better which makes it hard to connect as you say, thanks for your critique, it helps!
